Red Dead Redemption 2 is almost here. The month of October will play host to one of the highly-anticipated titles of this generation. While fans wait, there’s a new debate among gamers about the game’s size on disc.

Box art of what is allegedly the Japanese box art for the game has surfaced online. On the back, the cover confirms that Red Dead Redemption’s physical version will ship with two discs. The physical version in question is the Playstation 4 version.

It should be noted that Sony has timed-exclusivity for DLC content. The extra space could very well be due to exclusive content.

Earlier, the Red Dead Redemption 2 PlayStation 4 console bundle revealed the game requires 105GB of free storage space for installation.

Red Dead Redemption 2 download size for the Xbox One version is rumored to be approximately 88GB, according to Microsoft Store listing. PlayStation Store shows a similar download size at 89.2GB, if you check via your console.

But whatever the actual size ends up being, you can be sure it will be big. This is Rockstar’s most ambitious project yet. The massive open-world of Red Dead Redemption 2 is the biggest Rockstar have crafted yet. It is packed with opportunities, the world around you progresses even when you’re not looking at it. Rockstar Games’ Dan House revealed the game’s campaign takes about 65 hours to complete.

Red Dead Redemption 2 launches October 26, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Review embargo is set for October 25 at 4:01 AM, Pacific Standard Time. The final, launch trailer will go live today on October 18 at 10AM Eastern Time.
