NVIDIA RTX Super lineup is the industry’s worst kept secret by now. A teaser which sparked speculation is set to take full form starting in July.

Multiple reports have confirmed the existence of RTX Super lineup which is an upgrade over the current RTX lineup. Preorders for RTX 2060 Super and RTX 2070 Super are now live on Amazon. The custom variants in question are from EVGA; the XC edition. Several other editions in the family also appear to be available for preorder.

Both custom variants – of RTX 2060 and RTX 2070 – have a similar appearance to their current counterparts. The only difference is the Super branding on the box, as well as on the shroud.

The listing also confirms specifications for both GPUs. Starting with the RTX 2060, the GPU has received a bump in memory with 8GB VRAM – instead of 6GB in the current model. This is reportedly because the new GPU is using the TU106 chip with more CUDA cores enabled and a 256-bit bus.

Coming to the RTX 2070, while the listing does not confirm it, the GPU will be based on the TU104 chip, featuring more CUDA cores.

As for the release date, RTX Super lineup will be on shelves on July 9 with the RTX 2080 arriving a bit later. An official announcement is reportedly coming on July 2.
